About Lucia
Lucia is a singer, songwriter, educator, producer, and sound healer from Sevilla, Spain, based between the San Francisco Bay Area and Los Angeles.
She has dedicated her life to music, first trained as a classical pianist at the Madrid Conservatory, then studying Jazz at Berklee College of music, and vocal improvisation from luminaries Rhiannon and Bobby McFerrin. She’s been teaching voice, piano, guitar, and ukulele for almost two decades and is always on the leading edge of music as healing, specially the human voice.
In Lucia’s words: “I love studying and teaching the voice as an instrument, and I truly believe in its potential to unlock treasure chests of creative, emotional and transformational genius. I hope I make a difference with my art. I adore teaching, and the joy it brings into people’s lives.”

ALCHEMICAL SINGING
Everything sings, because everything in life vibrates. The birds, the whales, the ocean waves, the inside of an atom, the earth itself. In cosmologies around the world, the world came to be through sound, and we know that it all started with the Big Bang!
We sing to express our unique personal world, to bridge the inner with the outer. The act of singing is daring; it makes the statement: “I exist,” and it’s magical, for it instantly sends us to emotional landscapes that words alone are not able to cross.
When we utilize our first instrument, the VOICE, we reclaim our birth right to create. Our singing then, becomes a vessel for the alchemy of sound to happen, to create more beauty inside, and all around us.
As a creative I have experienced the positive impact of sound and music all throughout my life. I made the choice to become a musician and an artist at a very young age, and since then singing, playing, composing, producing, and using sound as healer have taken me around the world.
I feel blessed to have the joy music as my compass.
Through the years I’ve come to understand the profound effects a musical life can have on my students, audiences, and myself. I believe in the triad of music ::: healing ::: education as a potent medicine for our hearts and for our world.
